STECCI Digital Atlas

The STECCI Digital Atlas brings together climate, geospatial, risk, and vulnerability information in one interactive application.

It is designed to help users explore changing environmental conditions around cultural heritage through maps, time series, and spatial analysis.

Recent Climate Period

Explore available climate and environmental raster layers, adjust their opacity, inspect values at a selected location, and compare conditions on the map.

Climate Scenarios

Choose a climate parameter, scenario, and period. For the recent period, click the map to retrieve the location's annual time series and view it in the chart.

Climate Risk Vulnerability

Explore heritage-risk layers for floods, landslides, and wildfires, inspect point values, and use the Area Analyzer to summarize a polygon you draw.

How to use the atlas

  1. Choose a workspace. Open one of the three sections from the main navigation.
  2. Select the data. Activate a layer or choose the parameter, scenario, and period you want to explore.
  3. Interact with the map. Search for a place, zoom to an area, click a location, or draw a polygon for analysis.
  4. Review the result. Read the returned value, chart, or area summary and use the measurement and comparison tools when needed.

You can also add local spatial data for temporary visual context during your session. Available coverage, units, resolution, and time periods depend on the selected dataset.
